Check-in is at 3:00 PM. Check-out is at 10:30 AM. If you plan to arrive outside of normal front desk hours (7:00 AM – 9:00 PM), please contact us in advance and we'll arrange an access code for your room.
Reservations must be cancelled at least 48 hours prior to check-in. Cancellations or no-shows with less than 48 hours notice will be charged one night's room rate plus tax.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome in a limited number of designated pet-friendly rooms — please call ahead to confirm availability. There is a $50 per dog, per night fee. Dogs must not be left unattended at any time and must be accompanied by their owner while on the property. Guests assume full responsibility for any damages caused during the stay.
All Machias River Inn rooms are strictly non-smoking. Smoking inside a room will result in a $250 cleaning fee. Guests who wish to smoke must do so at least 25 feet from the building and must dispose of all materials properly.
Any and all damages caused during a guest's stay are the sole financial responsibility of the guest. We ask that you treat the property with the same care you'd expect in your own home.
Machias River Inn rates are based on occupancy at the time of booking. The availability of discounts is subject to change. Special pricing is at the discretion of the Machias River Inn.
Inn towels and linens are not to be used to clean off-road machines or equipment. Vehicles must remain in designated parking spaces and are not permitted on the back lawn. ATV trailers may park in the lower unit grass lot.
