The Machias River
Step outside and watch the river move. Guests regularly spot bald eagles, osprey, and harbor seals right from the property. The Machias River is one of the last undammed rivers in Maine — wild, clear, and alive.
The Sunrise Trail runs directly across the street. Sunrise Canoe & Kayak is minutes away. You couldn't be closer to it all.

We sat in chairs behind our room, looking at the Machias River, and saw eagles, osprey, and seals. Absolutely beautiful. The rooms were extremely modern and clean, and the staff was very friendly.

Remodeled rooms, super clean, right on the banks of the river. You can't beat the location. Helen's Restaurant right next door — lunch and dinner sorted without moving the car.
